After the last EFPT stop on Sardinia most of the riders went straight to the North of Greece. There the Milos Beach Lefkada Vassiliki Festival is goin

The EFPT will be embedded at the beginning of the Vassiliki Watersports Festival. Until the 2nd of June there will be following activities on the water: a GPS Speed Competition for Catamaran sailors, a yacht race, a Greek National Catamaran Cup & open sailing regatta, a GPS speed competition for windsurfers and also a slalom competition. Off the water the festival will present parts of Greek culture, from traditional dance groups to a Miss Bikini competition, and some further sportive activities. The event website says, “The small village of Vassiliki on the idyllic Greek island of Lefkas has long been famed as a wonderful destination for windsurfing and sailing with its beautiful bay and fantastic wind conditions most afternoons. The Festival is a chance for the village and the island of Lefkas to show off all that's best on the island including the islanders' warm hospitality as well as the stunning natural beauty of the area.“

As the EFPT was blessed with a lot of wind on it´s last events, we are also looking forward to good sailing conditions for the upcoming ones. Steven van Broeckhoven (F2/Gaastra), Davy Scheffers (Tabou/Gaastra), Yarden Meir (Fanatic/Simmer Style) and a few other EFPT riders are already on the isle and got some first sailing hours.
